ldeal L6 will be officially launched on April 18th

On April 8th, Ideal Automobile officially announced that the Ideal L6 will be officially launched on April 18th. The Ideal L6 is positioned as an extended range mid size SUV, with a 5-seater layout and a focus on the 200000 to 300000 yuan range. With the launch of the Ideal L6, it will further seize the market share of SUVs within the 300000 yuan range, with an expected monthly sales volume of over 20000 units.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Ideal L6, like other models in the L series, will be divided into two versions: the AD Max version and the AD Pro version. The Max version supports high-speed and city navigation functions, and the intelligent driving system is the Ideal AD Max, while the Air/Pro version only supports high-speed navigation, and the intelligent driving system is the Ideal AD Pro. In terms of hardware, the Max version is equipped with 1 LiDAR, 1 millimeter wave radar, and 11 cameras. The intelligent driving chip uses dual NVIDIA Orin-X, with a chip computing power of 508 TOPS. The biggest difference between the Air/Pro version and the Max version is the cancellation of the LiDAR and the use of the Horizon Journey 5 chip, which has a computing power of 128 TOPS.

The Ideal L6 still adopts the design style of the Ideal L series models, with a semi enclosed front face design. From the name, it can be seen that the positioning of the new model is lower than the ideal L7 model. It is understood that the new car is positioned as a large five seater SUV.
From the side of the car, there is not much difference in design between the new car and other L-series models. The Ideal L6 will still adopt a simple and smooth design, with a continuous waistline and hidden door handles, giving it a simple and atmospheric overall style. In terms of body size, the Ideal L6 is 4925/1960/1735mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2920mm. It is positioned as a five seater extended range mid size SUV. Compared to the Ideal L7, its length, width, and height are 5050/1995/1750mm, with a wheelbase of 3005mm. The size of the Ideal L6 is significantly smaller.
In terms of interior, the Ideal L6 and L7/L8/L9 are also basically the same. There is no instrument panel on the left side, and they also adopt a dual screen design, still simple and luxurious. Overall, in terms of appearance, configuration, and interior design, it is still an ideal family design with little change.

In terms of power, the Ideal L6 is equipped with a range extender system consisting of a 1.5T four cylinder range extender and front and rear dual motors, and is equipped with electric four-wheel drive. The maximum power of the 1.5T four cylinder range extender is 113 kW, equipped with a 35.8 kWh battery pack, and a pure electric range of 172 km. In terms of batteries, the Ideal L6 is equipped with lithium iron phosphate from Xinwangda and Ningde Times respectively.
