On July 17, Dongfeng EV new energy nano box was officially launched, with a total of two models and four color options, with a price range of 65700-71700 yuan. At the new car launch, Dongfeng EV New Energy announced the product information and price of nano box.

So what about the nano box, the first boutique light pure electric small SUV of Dongfeng EV new energy?

It can be seen from the appearance that it took a lot of thought, closely following the cute design route of the current micro pure tram. The front face uses the combination of geometric elements and lines, which is very recognizable. The split crystal headlamp adopts an irregular shape with the driving light above and the air intake grille below, which is a bit like the serious version of the "smiling front face" design.

On the side of the car body, the new car is equipped with black guard plates at the wheel arches, making the whole car more layered. The length, width and height of the new car are 3732/1579/1515mm and the wheelbase is 2423mm, which has certain advantages over the size of competing models.

In terms of appearance color matching, four colors have been released, namely black, white, cyan and pink. However, unlike the other three models, this pink car will be sold offline in Q4.

In terms of interior decoration, the nano box adopts two-color interior decoration. The seats are of one-piece shape, and the embroidery process on the back is outstanding. The new car is equipped with a 7-inch full LCD instrument and a 10 inch suspended high-definition colorful central control screen. The overall central control area has a full sense of science and technology. The multimedia system also supports mobile phone interconnection, voice recognition, Bluetooth phone, reversing image and other functions. The knob shift is matched with the piano paint baking panel, which is convenient and textured.

In terms of power and safety configuration, nano box adopts Ternary Lithium Battery, with a battery capacity of 27.2kwh and a range of up to cltc331km, which can meet the needs of daily travel and near outing vehicles. All models support fast charging, and the power can be increased from 30% to 80% after charging for 30 minutes. The new car is equipped with main and co driver airbags, child seat fixtures, child door locks, ABS system and EBD braking force distribution system as standard, and adopts the international asil-d highest safety level standard.

At present, the market penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China is increasing. The cumulative penetration rate has reached 18% in 2022, which is only 1% in 2016. In June this year, the penetration rate of new energy market has reached about 25%. New energy vehicles are the trend of the times. At present, a large part of the growth point of new energy vehicles comes from small new energy vehicles below 100000 yuan. Dongfeng EV new energy has been focusing on this level of market.
