SAIC Roewe joins the camp of new energy price increase

A few days ago, relevant media reported that SAIC Roewe issued a notice on the increase of new energy prices and raised the official guidance prices of various new energy vehicles from March 1, 2022. The same reasons as other car companies, the main reasons are still the shortage of chips, the decline of new energy subsidies and the rise of costs.

According to the notice on the price increase of SAIC Roewe new energy vehicles, customers who pay a deposit and sign up to buy cars before March 1, 2022 will not be affected by the price adjustment.

At present, Rongwei's new energy products include pure electric models such as clever, ei5 and I6 Max EV, as well as hybrid models such as rx5 Emax, rx5e plus and ei6 max.

According to official data, SAIC Roewe sold 9892 new energy models in January 2022, with a month on month increase of 80% and a year-on-year increase of 85%.
