On February 29th, the BYD Song PLUS Honor Edition was officially launched, with 5 models of the Song PLUS DM-i priced at 129800 to 169800 yuan, and 4 models of the Song PLUS EV priced at 149800 to 189800 yuan. Compared to the champion model, the selling price has been significantly reduced by 20000 yuan, but there has been no reduction in configuration, and both new cars have been optimized and upgraded based on the model configuration.

In terms of appearance, the Song PLUS DM-i and EV versions are still based on the design concept of ocean aesthetics. The DM-i adopts a horizontal bar front grille design, while the EV adopts a closed grille with guide grooves on both sides of the front bumper. The other parts of the two models remain the same.

From the side view of the car, the new car's waistline runs through the body, and the overall line is very smooth. The waistline extends from the front headlight group to the rear. In terms of body size, the DM-i has a length, width, and height of 4775/1890/1670mm, and a wheelbase of 2765mm; The length, width, and height of the EV are 4785/1890/1660mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2765mm. In terms of the rear end, the new car adopts a through type tail light group, which is smoked black and matched with C-shaped guide grooves on both sides, giving it a strong sense of sportiness.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel with a 15.6-inch rotatable central control screen design style, and is also equipped with a three spoke Multifunction Steering Wheel, electronic crystal gear lever, DiLink intelligent networking system, etc., giving it a simple and atmospheric overall appearance.

In terms of power, the Song PLUS DM-i model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a Xiaoyun 1.5L high-efficiency engine and a front electric motor. The maximum power of the engine is 81kW, and the maximum power of the driving motor is 145kW. There are three types of battery capacities: 12.9kWh, 18.3kWh, and 26.6kWh, corresponding to a pure electric range of 71 kilometers, 110 kilometers, and 150 kilometers, respectively. The EV model will be equipped with a front mounted single motor, with two power specifications of 150kW and 160kW, and a battery pack of 71.8kWh and 87.04kWh, with a range of 520 kilometers and 605 kilometers.
