On February 27th, the all-new Geely Krypton 001 was officially launched, with a total of four models available at a price range of 269000 to 329000 yuan. Jike 001 is positioned as a pure electric mid to large hunting sedan. As a mid-term facelift model, the new car has upgraded its exterior, interior, and configuration. It will be equipped with LiDAR, 800V high-voltage platform, Qualcomm 8295 chip, dual chamber air suspension, 35.5-inch AR-HUD head up display, zero to hundred acceleration 3.3s, and other configurations.
In terms of appearance, the new car has made slight adjustments to its appearance. The front face adopts a shape similar to that of the Geely Krypton 001 FR, with a wider air intake at the lower part of the front end and larger air guide grooves on both sides, making the entire front end look more aggressive.
From the side view, the new car has a dual color body option and is equipped with large-sized wheels and hidden door handles. The new car still adopts a through type tail light group at the rear of the car, and is equipped with a roof spoiler. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4977/1999/1545mm, and a wheelbase of 3005mm.
In terms of intelligent cockpit, the new car is equipped with a 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED central control LCD screen, and a new 35.5-inch AR-HUD head up display and a Qualcomm 8295 chip. In addition, the new car's interior material comes standard with NAPPA top layer leather, as well as optional perforated seats with a thousand bird grid, and an upgraded electronic door handle.
In addition, the all-new Extreme Krypton 001 has also added a 5D viewing mode, which can achieve wind, rain, fog, and other elements in the plot through cockpit hardware linkage. It is also equipped with KR AI large model and health decompression chamber mode, and the 28 speaker Yamaha audio system is standard across the entire series.
In terms of chassis, the new car adopts a magic carpet active dynamic suspension and CCD electromagnetic damping system. The new dual chamber air spring can adjust height and stiffness simultaneously, with a maximum ground clearance of 193mm and a maximum climbing slope of 70%.
In terms of intelligent driving, the all-new Extreme Krypton 001 adopts Mobileye's latest generation of intelligent driving solution EVO domain control platform, and is equipped with LiDAR as standard across the entire series, which will achieve ultra long detection distance, high-precision perception, and more sensitive road condition recognition. At the same time, the intelligent driving strategy has also been further improved, with the addition of onboard staff who can intelligently recognize the intentions of other vehicles, and lane changing is both safe and efficient. The intelligent driving capability can cover APA automatic parking, highway, and city navigation functions. The high-speed NZP of the all-new Geely Krypton 001 can be delivered and will cover more than 60 cities nationwide by the end of March. In the second quarter of this year, the Geely Krypton high-speed NZP will cover more than 90% of prefecture level cities nationwide, and old car owners of Geely Krypton 001 will also promote it simultaneously. The all-new Extreme Krypton 001 is equipped with an LCC+enhanced lane centering assistance system, which has been upgraded with emphasis on high curvature curves, large intersections, and occupancy recognition and avoidance capabilities. This feature will be officially launched for all Extreme Krypton 001 owners in the second quarter of this year. Starting from the second quarter, City NZP will also launch the first batch of user public testing in core cities across the country.
In terms of power, the all-new Extreme Krypton 001 is equipped with 800V high-voltage platform technology, and both the front and rear motors are equipped with the same dual silicon carbide high-performance electric drive system as the Extreme Krypton 001 FR, providing 10 driving modes to choose from, including racing mode, ejection mode, and drift mode as the same model as the 001 FR. The maximum power of the front motor is 270kW, the maximum power of the rear motor is 310kW, and the comprehensive power is 580kW. The acceleration time of the four-wheel drive version from 0-100km/h has been increased to 3.3s; The battery pack provides a 100kWh Kirin battery and a 95kWh Shenxing battery, respectively, corresponding to a range of 750km and 675km.
